Maker Spotlight: Midnight Paloma - Handmade Vancouver Self-Care

Midnight Paloma started in 2017 from founder Tayler Mariles' parents' home in North Vancouver, after years co-owning the Vancouver boutique BeautyMark. What began as a small passion project grew into a full clean beauty line, now carried in over 500 retailers including Nordstrom and Whole Foods.

Every product is still made by hand in Vancouver, in small batches. Tayler builds each formula around a "hero" ingredient, starting with charcoal, and later adding chamomile, hempseed oil, and coconut butter, all natural, all vegan, all cruelty-free. No fillers, no synthetic preservatives.

The collection covers a full self-care routine: bath soaks in scents like Lavender + Chamomile and French Rose + Vanilla, rich hand creams and body lotions, a gentle body scrub, and even a facial dry brush, one of the only tools of its kind on the market.
